TELLING TALES AT CHRISTMAS:
Telling Tales is a new concept in interactive story-telling especially for our younger audiences - but that doesn't mean that the adults won't love it too! The original series (launched April 2011) was hosted by renowned traditional African story-tellers, Effua Daniels and Sam K Dadson. Together with their merry band of four to seven year old "Talebearers", they shared tales from all over the continent of Africa for everyone to enjoy and participate in.

Tobi Karunwi
I’ve always wanted job where I could express my artistic flair. I started off my journey at OH as an intern without any experience or knowledge about the media industry in general. With time and chance I was fortunate enough to be given my first breakthrough as the assistant set designer for one of the shows on OHTV- Its All Good, due to my artistic abilities. I then went on to become the set designer for another flagship show called Afrika Rising as well as the OHNEWS. After a while working in the OH STUDIO department, the management took me under their wing teaching me new skills after which I became a camera operator on the latest flagship show – REAL TALK. Now, I’m a graphics designer, set designer and studio camera operator.
Effua Daniels

She has written scripts and animated stories for the CBeebies’ series ‘The Story Makers’, many of which are on BBC Radio 7.
