Meet The Programme Team
Shean Roberts
PRODUCER - A multi-skilled producer-director, especially well-versed at live action multi-camera music events and films. Includes work for Jocelyn Brown, Asa, Roger and Sam Grandison, Brian Temba (from the Lion King), and London Community Gospel Choir. With his small production company Tehillah Production had made factual and fiction productions, EPKs, adverts, promos, music and corporate videos.
Sam Blankson
Producer/Director
Born and raised in Ghana until he was 12 years old, Sam attended the University of Leeds and completed a Masters in Film and Television Production at Royal Holloway, University of London. After stints at Rushes Post, Ascent Media and John Mills Ltd, he began directing commercials in 2005. In 2009 he moved to OH TV where he produced segments for Uprise. In 2010 he conceived, developed and continues to produce OH TV's flagship show for the African disapora, Afrika Rising. Sam has also created commercials for Priscilla Jones and Muyiwa.
Israel Peters
Assistant Producer/Editor
Israel Peters is a young editor, camera man and director who has amassed over three years of experience in the creative field. He began his career as an intern for Uprise Music TV in 2008 and has been successfully groomed into one of OH TV's homegrown talents. Israel is also the manager of DRIVE, a cross-media production company. His credits include the Flasback music video for Faithchild and the Guvna B Scrapbook EPK. He has recently been promoted to assistant producer at UPRISE Music TV.
