Mirat  Balkandali

Mirat is one of the leading and inspiring figures within the OH TV family. Previously he has worked for the Islam Channel as a Director, Sound Engineer and Cam Operator specialising in News and Current affairs. Not only is he part of the Studio Management team but he is also the Director behind flagship shows such as “Real Talk”, “Headlines”, “OH Happy Day”, “Telling Tales” and “The Kubi Springer Show”. Being an Audio Engineering specialist he has worked with many high profile acts within the Music Industry as well as in Broadcasting.

Shean Roberts

PRODUCER -
A multi-skilled producer-director, especially well-versed at live action multi-camera music events and films. Includes work for Jocelyn Brown, Asa, Roger and Sam Grandison, Brian Temba (from the Lion King), and London Community Gospel Choir. With his small production company Tehillah Production had made factual and fiction productions, EPKs, adverts, promos, music and corporate videos.

Stephanè Alexandra

Presenter
Having completed a B.A. in Screen Cultures (Film, Media & Journalism) I landed my first role as a television presenter on OH TV’s flagship show, Oh Happy Day in May 2010 (Sky Channel 199). I have since interviewed a range of entertainment ‘s finest from Jason Isaacs, Jocelyn Brown, Janet Jackson, Faith Evans, Emmanuel Jal, Mary Mary and Tyler Perry.

In 2011, I was featured in Powerful Media’s, Future Leaders as one of the top 100 black graduates in the UK. My passions for the world of entertainment are evident in my various ventures both on and off camera. Described as endearing and a full of life personality, I was awarded scholarships to Jigsaw Performing Arts School. In 2005 I joined America agency ‘John Robert Powers’ and have since starred in a range of screenplays and theatre productions from Fame at Sadlers Wells to short films with Daryl Cox (IMDB).

Darae Palmer

Presenter -
One defining moment in Darae’s career was when he was asked by the award winning jazz artist Ronny Jordan to be a special guest vocalist on his world tour. This tour covered Australia, New Zealand, St.Lucia, Japan, Europe and all across America. This gave him another level of confidence as he was continuously receiving rave reviews around the world for his performances.

Darae’s presence and charisma while performing also caught the attention of MTV’s management/marketing department who had recently penned an idea for a new TV programme and where looking for the right man to front the show.

Darae is currently as highly regarded for his presenting, interviewing and hosting skills as he is for singing. This is due to the vastly successful “Baselounge”, MTV Base’s brilliant R&B/Hip Hop showcase event and television show. Darae is not only the Presenter and Host but is also the musical director of the Baselounge house band.
Some past Guests/Performers of the show who have been interviewed by Darae are Floetry, Blu Cantrell, Lemar, Charlotte Church, Shaggy, Jamelia, Joss Stone, Rashaan Patterson, Mica Paris and Teedra Moses. This has opened up more avenues to Darae’s many hidden talents which in result has led to Voice Over’s for commercial’s, Narrating reality TV show’s and presenting on Radio.

Ayshea Kamara

Assistant Producer -
She started out as a camera operator on "Order My Steps", the broadcast of one of the largest pentecostal churches in the UK (Ruach Ministries). Due to her keen eye to detail and quick shot composition she rose through the ranks to become a vision mixer/director. Her attention to detail, strong organisational skills and ability to carry out what is required of her have allowed to become an accomplished producer.
